Welcome to festival volunteers

Official welcome and thank you to the many (over 100) volunteers who will lend a hand with festival logistics, organisation and website content. More than 40 volunteers will be from outside Italy; they will be offered hospitality at the University of Perugia student residences. Duties will include management of the festival venues, infopoint and reception services, working in the festival press office, writing articles, event reviews, speaker interviews (in various languages) for the online festival magazine, taking photos and videos.

The festival organisation has received more than 750 applications (closing date 30 January 2009) to be a 2009 festival volunteer. The festival is unable for logistical reasons to accept more than 80 live-in volunteers (additional day volunteers who live locally will also be involved in the festival) but we would like to thank all those who applied for their interest in the festival. Please apply again in 2010, or even better come along to the 2009 festival anyway. We’d be delighted to see you here.
